BELOW YOU WILL FIND A LIST OF BULLET POINTS TO FOLLOW, TAKING YOU FROM A B CATEGORY TO A C+E CATEGORY LICENSE.
FOLLOW THESE STEPS BELOW
You need to:
1) Obtain forms D2 & D4 (see the DVLA links on this page)
2) Fill in the D2 form. You must take the D4 form to a doctor (see our Course Info page)
3) Send the completed D2 and D4 forms, along with your old licence, to the DVLA
4) Receive the licence and check that the correct provisionals have been added (online)
5) Book your (module 1) theory tests, which are multiple-choice questions, and the hazard perception
6) Pass the theory tests
7) Phone us to organise an assessment (don’t forget to bring your licence and N.I number) and if it is B - C+E you're wanting then please inform us as soon as possible so we can adivse on correct proceedure and design a training course suitable
8) Phone us to book the course quoted and pay your deposit
9) Pay the remaining monies 14 days prior to training
10) After passing the cat C test, you may carry on to do your Artic licence (C+E).
10.1) If you are wanting to go from Car to Artic, you will need to apply for C+E provisional and contact us so we can discuss the options and possible routes to obtaining this.
11) Upgrading from C to C+E? then simply call to book a drivers assessment

If you passed your car test after January 1997, you will also need a driver CPC
a) Module 2 - case study: £23
b) Module 4 - practical examination: £250 , discounted for our customers
Modules 2 and 4 can be taken before, during or after training.
